So I saw the new pokemon stuff, shame I can't milk it for views since I can't draw anything to save my life. Drawing Wicke would probably only gets me like 2 faves just from search results alone compared to the hundreds/thousands other artists got in like 1 hour of reveal PLUS drawing AND coloring.
This just sucks.
This just sucks.
So tired...
Read the last few journals for context.
That moment where you become tired after doing exhausting things, you look at how other people are doing, it just feels so unaccomplishing and isolating that I just want to sleep to make the time fly.
Maybe it's just mundane, too much of a broken record to make much of a difference.
Artists
Have you ever looked at the archive of an artist you liked the art of to see if they started off slow just to feel better? then find that they didn't draw bad and in fact been on the site half/75% less long as you?
Artist self-uncertainty
has anyone else ever seen artists they really like. that you try to be really good then suddenly the spark dies?, just feels a bit bad that you take over 3 hours to draw something and the drawing felt good, but then turns out to be pure garbage, only to be faved by 3 tumblr bots. whilst the original artists you saw 7 years ago got even better since then..
Art communities are probably like that, 10 great artists that eclipses the rest, to the extent that it's pretty easy to find them if you have specific tastes.
Creativity
Is it even possible to become good at art, i mean I've been doodling random things for years and have seen other artists in their prime draw decently, watching them improve over the years, eventually you get by alright thinking your stuff is improving and alright, eventually you might even drop out due to unforeseeable conditions.
I've drawn art in the past, and even wrote a story or 2, it wasn't until seeing requests filled out on a board at extremely fast times with decent details convinced me to get myself a tablet, eventually i start to adapt to SAI, but my artwork just didn't improve, i literally got an art morgue full of malformed shap

Don't feel discouraged, and if you love to draw keep at it. If you persevere you'll see that you'll get a little bit better each day
If you need tips there are many people here that would be more than happy to help, myself included. Although I rarely visit this site. Never give up!
